I admit to harboring a fondness for the opossum, our continent’s only marsupial. My old dog General Sherman used to catch baby possums and carry them around the yard like they were one of his stuffies, gently dropping them when an alarmed human shouted, “Drop it!” Plus, possums eat ticks and mosquitoes, helping to keep your yard a pest-free zone!
Each wool applique opossum ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The round portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ in diameter. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
