In 2nd grade I was downright OBSESSED with the book Mr. Popper’s Penguins. I constructed my own refrigerator out of cardboard boxes as a home for my own penguin stuffed animals. Something about that story captivated my imagination and, to this day, I have a soft spot for penguins.
PLEASE NOTE: The current variation of this ornament has red and white striped string as shown in the final image. I absolutely LOVE how it complements the candy cane!
Each wool applique snowman ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The oval portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ wide by 2″ tall. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
