Description
This ornament is a tribute to Meridian, an orange tabby I once had. She was smart, playful, and, to my surprise, a skillful mouser. I found this out one evening when I saw her sitting proudly with what appeared to be a string hanging from her mouth. Only it wasn’t a string! I screamed, she released the poor thing, and I safely caught and relocated the little critter far, far away.
Currently this ornament is listed as “out of stock”, because I changed the background fabric from green to blue but have not yet photographed this new variation. If you would like to order one, please feel free to contact me as I do have several available.
Each wool applique cat ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The oval portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ tall by 2″ wide. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
