I can’t live in the heart of Kentucky and not have an ornament honoring the majesty of the horse. This particular ornament was inspired by my commute down Paris Pike, a 14-mile stretch between Lexington and Paris lined by big skies, rolling hills, frolicking thoroughbreds, iconic black fences, and drop-dead gorgeous horse barns.
Each wool applique Kentucky horse ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The round portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ in diameter. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
