Ever since reading Charlotte’s Web in 2nd grade, I’ve loved pigs (<3 Wilbur), so I knew at some point I would make a pig ornament. And living near Cincinnati, City of the Flying Pig, why not give the pig wings? Plus, one of my favorite TV laugh lines as a kid was Flo from Alice: “When pigs fly!”
Each wool applique flying pig ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The round portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ in diameter. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
