Who ever would have guessed that the first official mascot for the Olympic Games was a dachshund? Nicknamed Waldi, the mascot was created for the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich (of course, Germany). Even the marathon route was designed in the shape of a dachshund!
Each wool applique dachshund ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The oval portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ wide by 2″ tall. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
FREE SHIPPING with the purchase of two or more ornaments. Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days.
