If I had a dollar for every person that asked for a black cat ornament at last year’s Christmas Market, I wouldn’t be sewing ornaments today. I’d be sipping a Cognac cocktail in the French Riviera. Alas, that did not come to pass, but a new black cat ornament did. And I’m pretty sure this expression is exactly what I would get if I tried to put a sweater on my old cat Steve.
Each wool applique black cat ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The oval portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ tall by 2″ wide. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
