Fun fact: Polar bears actually are black. Much like a blue jay’s coloring is a trick of nature, the polar bear only appears white because of the way its translucent fur reflects visible light. It’s skin is pitch black.
Each wool applique polar bear ornament is drawn out, carefully cut, and handstitched by yours truly. The oval portion of the ornament measures approximately 2.75″ tall by 2″ wide. Of course because of the handmade nature of this item, minor variations may exist from one ornament to another.
